Financial Support Policy

                                         POLICY DOCUMENT ON PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO FACULTY

            Objective: The objective of this policy is to elaborate on the procedure for sponsoring faculty members to attend skill enhancement programs, workshops, conferences, industrial trainings, and other relevant events to enhance their professional

                             development.

  Policy:

1. Academic Schedule and Program Planning:

• At the beginning of every semester, the academic schedule for the semester shall be released to all teaching and non-teaching staff members.
• Faculty members are required to review the academic schedule and identify skill enhancement courses and professional development opportunities such as Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), conferences, workshops, industrial trainings, and other relevant events.

2. Grouping of Faculty Members:

• Heads of Departments (HODs) or the Principal may organize department meetings to group faculty members based on their specialization or willingness to learn specific technologies or skills.
• These groupings will help in identifying the specific needs and interests of faculty members for skill enhancement.

3. Identifying Relevant Programs:

• The institution will actively seek out relevant skill enhancement programs organized by reputed institutions or organizations.
• The faculty members and department heads are encouraged to explore various opportunities for professional development.

4. Sharing Program Options:

• The institution will provide information about available programs and opportunities to faculty members. This information may include options provided by organizations such as Atal, AICTE, and other relevant bodies.
• A comprehensive program options sheet will be shared with all faculty members for their consideration.

5. Finalizing Program Attendance:

• The final decision on the number of programs that can be attended by individual faculty members and the necessity of attending will be made collaboratively. Duty leave will be allowed only after submitting certificate.
• Faculty members, in consultation with their respective department heads or the Principal, will determine the most suitable programs based on their career development needs and departmental priorities.

6. Financial Support:

• The institution is committed to supporting faculty members in their professional development efforts. Financial support, including funding for program registration fees, travel, accommodation, and other related expenses, will be provided as per the institution's budget and policies.
• Faculty members must adhere to the institution's policies and procedures for claiming reimbursement.

7. Reporting and Evaluation:

• Faculty members who have attended skill enhancement programs are encouraged to share their experiences and learning outcomes with their colleagues.
• The institution will periodically evaluate the effectiveness of this policy in enhancing the professional development of its faculty members and make necessary improvements as needed.
